Students of the Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA) have achieved remarkable success by securing top ranks in the annual university examination conducted by Karnataka University Dharwad (KUD).
In the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) stream, Aisha Rufi, daughter of Jameel Hussain Fakardey, secured the first rank with an impressive score of 94.95% marks.
Wasira, daughter of Abdul Jabbar Shingeti, secured the eighth rank with a commendable score of 91.69% marks, while Eifa, daughter of Habibullah Siddibapa, secured the ninth rank with 91.67% marks, as announced in a press release by the Principal of AIMCA.
Anjuman Hamee-e-Muslimeen President Kazia Muzammil, General Secretary Ismail Siddique, Principal Mohammad Mohsin, and other staff members congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement in the university examination.

Kodagu Model School, promoted by Sri Kavery Kodava Association – Mysuru East, Vidyashankara Layout, has secured hundred percent results in the SSLC Exams for the academic year 2022-23.
Muhammed S. Shiraazuddin has topped Kodagu Model School with 598 marks out of 625 (95.68%).

BVB School
The students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) School in Vijayanagar, Mysuru, too have excelled in SSLC and the School has secured 100 percent results.
Out of the 161 students who had appeared, 124 have passed with distinction and the rest 37 in first class.
Farah Mohammad Ayub, a student of Muttangi Government High School in the taluk, secured 620 out of 625 (99.2 per cent) marks in the current year’s SSLC examination and secured the 6th position in the state. She has achieved second place in the district.
She studied in a village’s government primary school till 6th standard, Jnanjyoti school from 7th to 8th, and Muttangi government high school from 9th to 10th, and she strongly desires to practice and write the UPSC exam after her graduation in science. Since she belongs to a poor family, it would be beneficial if the government subsidised her practice. Farah expressed her helplessness.
Farah has provided inspirational thought and demonstrated that talent is unaffected by the issue of poverty in villages, towns, and cities, achieving the top rank.
Her father, Mohammad Ayub, and mother, Begum, belong to a farming family. An older sister and two brothers are making a living by cultivating 2 acres of plain land.
Farah’s father, Mohammad Ayub, expressed his happiness by conveying the message, ‘I am very happy that God gifted me Farah and has come to light the home. Further, he added, the government should support the practice of the daughter’s need for funding higher studies.
Her method of learning in the SSLC exam preparation was: ‘Watching YouTube lessons to understand clip lessons of science and mathematics subjects was very helpful. The teacher’s teaching in the school gives her a better understanding by listening with concentration. Work on writing answers to questions related to lessons at home right from the start. A student should have concentration and a precise aim to get good results. She used to practise the lessons daily for 7 hours. Solving math problems in the evening: Kannada, English, and science subjects.

Green Valley National School and PU College, Shiroor has scored 100% result for the 11th consecutive year in ICSE Grade X Exams with an outstanding performance taking the school performance to a higher level.
Out of 63 students all the students have registered good results 100% pass and first class in all subjects. 20 students have secured High Distinction and 43 students have secured High first Classes.
MARIAM INAYATULLAH is a topper scoring 472 (94.4%). SOHAIL AHAMED ANWAR scored 470 (94%) and come second. MOHAMMED SAOUD secured the third position with 466 (93.2%).

In the arts steam, Tabassum Sheikh, NMKRV PU College, Bengaluru is the topper with 593/600 marks.
S.M. Koushik from Gangothri PU college, Srinivaspura, Kolar district, and Surabhi S. from R.V. PU college, NMKRV campus, Bengaluru are the toppers in the science stream with 596 marks for 600.
How PU students performed as compared to last year
At 74.67%, the pass percentage in the II PU exams shot up by 12% from the previous year.
Of the 7,02,067 students who appeared for the exams, 5,24,209 have cleared them. A total of 4,79,746 (78.97%) regular students, 33,833 (48.42%) repeaters and 10,630 (43.02%) private candidates passed.
The pass percentage in the arts stream (1,34,876 students) was 61.22%, in commerce (1,82,246 students) was 75.89%, and in science (2,07,087 students) was 85.71%.
This year too, the pass percentage of girls is higher than boys — 2,82,602 girls (80.25%) passed against 2,41,607 (69.05%) boys. The performance of rural students was better than those in the urban areas — 1,19,860 (74.79%) rural students passed against 4,04,349 (74.63%) urban.
A total of 1,09,509 students got distinction (above 85%), 2,47,315 students got first class (60% to 85%), 90,014 students got second class (50% to 60%) and 77,371 students secured more than the minimum marks to pass (35% to 50%).

As the results of II PU were announced, the department has released the list of students who became the toppers in the district.
In arts stream, Hanumanth, Swami Vivekananda PU College in Gurmitkal, secured 577 marks with 96.17%, Maheboob Shaikh Sahir from commerce stream, who is studying in Don Bosco PU College Yadgir, secured 560 marks with 93.33%, while Prajna B.M. from science stream, who is studying in Sairam PU College Shahapur, has secured 588 marks with 98%.
The other toppers in arts stream are: Amaresh secured 575 marks (95.83%), Chaitanya 575 marks (95.83%), Arunkumar 569 marks (94.83%), and Nagamma 569 marks (94.83%).
In commerce stream: Ishwarya secured 547 marks (91.16%) and Nagaraj secured 546 marks (91%).
In science stream: Abhishek secured 588 marks (98%), Savitri 580 marks (96.66%), Akash 580 marks (96.66%), Shruti secured 580 (96.66%), and Surendra secured 577 marks (96.16%), respectively.

Students of Hubballi and Dharwad have done well in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission to medical courses, with several students scoring above 600 marks
Students of Hubballi and Dharwad have done well in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to medical courses, with several scoring above 600 marks.
Gagan Thimmanagoudar of KLE Society’s P.C. Jabin PU College has secured 681 out of 720 marks topping in the college. Vachana Ammanagi has secured 541 marks, Principal V.R. Waghmode has said in a release.
Ananya Karpur, of Veman Vidyavardhak Sangha’s K.H. Patil PU Science and Commerce, College, Hubballi, has scored 670 out of the 720, securing the All-India Ranking of 1,451.
Prerana Residential PU College, Hubballi, has once again registered good results in NEET. Three students, Fiza Anzum (641), Shreyas Fakkirswamy (637), and Vishal Sakri (600) have crossed or touched the 600 mark. Other toppers of the college are K. Chetan (595), Poojya Munyal (591), Sahana (564), Prachi Darak (558), Meghana Patil (553), Chinmay Salmani (547), Basavaraj Ijeri (540), and Ankita Jantli (528).
Aman Shanbhag of JSS R.S. Hukkerikar Arts, Commerce and Science PU College, Dharwad has secured 624 marks and Suraj has secured 607.
Students of Sana Shaheen PU College, Ayesha Siddiqa Dharwad (574), Mohammed Taha (541), Madiha Oomorose (524), and Umme Hifza Bilepasar (512) have topped the college.
