Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar’s wedding will be an intimate affair attended by family and close friends.

Actor Gauahar Khan is set to marry choreographer Zaid Darbar today. The couple hosted their chiksa and mehendi ceremonies earlier this week. Sharing pictures of her mehendi, Gauahar wrote, “Writing our love story on each other’s hearts forever with the blessings of our family and friends and above all Allah. ❤”

Announcing her wedding on Instagram, the actor had written, “The year 2020 has been anything but ordinary and our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever. Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony. We seek your blessings & love & are eternally grateful for the constant support & the outpour of warm wishes we have received. We hope for every soul to find its mate and pray for every heart to find it’s reason to beat. All our love, Gauahar and Zaid.”

Gauahar Khan had previously shared an animated video on Instagram, which detailed her love story with Zaid Dabar. She shared with her followers that the two bumped into each other during the lockdown as they shopped for groceries and hit it off instantly. They started texting and their dates comprised of long drives and Zoom calls.

Popular model and actress Gauhar Khan seems to be following the footsteps of Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

After PeeCee and Deepu, now Gauhar is all set to make her Hollywood debut with a song in the big budget film ‘Solar Eclipse-Depth Of Darkness’ which is based on Indian independence and set in Violent India, post partition.

According to the reports in Times of India, ‘Chand Bibi’ will be seen in Mujra sequence which is choreographed by none other than Saroj Khan, making it more special for her.

In an interview with the leading newspaper, she said, “After seeing me dance on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, Sarojji had said that she wished I was her daughter. I’m thrilled that she is choreographing this song.”

Talking about her fitness, “My fitness is keeping me super excited. I do crazy weight training and I’m very happy with the shape I’m in. Of course, in the mujra I’ll be all covered up!” she added.

Prachi Desai, Gauhar Khan Turn Showstopper

Actress Prachi Desai and Gauhar Khan turned show-stopper at the Lakme Fashion Week here.

Known for her exotic red carpet creations worn by Bollywood stars, Sonaakshi Raaj presented her collection ‘A Broadway Affair’ on day four of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 here.

It was a collection of skirts teamed up with cropped tops, high waist pants with bustier, gowns, pre-stitched draped saris with corsets, lacy blouses, halter gold bustier in shades of white, beige, light blue and tomato red.

Wearing a stunning corset and moulded draped sari, Prachi turned the showstopper for Sonaakshi.

Another designer Ken Ferns created a floral fantasy for his garments through his collection called ‘Secret Garden’.

The silhouettes were utterly feminine with cropped tops, pleated shorts, floppy sleeves for asymmetric tunics, maxi skirts teamed with blouses for women. Men’s wear was a line-up of shorts, printed pants, shirts and muscle sleeved tunics.

He made use of colours like blue, white, turquoise, green, pink and lime green.

Ken had Gauhar, who wore a printed corset with a long pencil skirt seductively slit at the back.
